World War II and New Weapons
World War II brought the workforce that people needed to step out of depression. The reason why we succeeded is due to our advantage in weaponry.
One example, The Willys MB Jeep, is not specifically a weapon, but it was versatile and important part of America's WWII experience. Weighing in at around 2,290 lb (1,040 kg) and able to hold a crew of people, it was easy for this vehicle to be flipped over, pushed, towed, etc.
Another, hydrogen bomb, helped us defeat the Axis powers to end the long war.
